| Macrovision and Copy Protection |

 Macrovision is a company that provides various copy protection solutions for CD, DVD, and VHS.
Macrovision's Copy Protection Products/Services that can be contained on Cinram-manufactured products are the following:
- Analog Copy Protection: To prevent someone from making a video tape copy of a DVD or VHS tape.
- SafeDisc: To prevent someone from making a copy of a CD-ROM, as well as to prevent software execution from an illegally copied CD-ROM.

| Analog Copy Protection (ACP) |

ACP on a DVD-Video: The DVD authoring house that creates your source media (DLT or DVD-R), must enable the Macrovision ACP method. You must notify your Cinram Customer Service Representative if ACP is present on your source media.
ACP on a VHS Tape: Cinram places the ACP method on duplicated VHS tapes. The source media does not contain the ACP method. You must notify your Cinram Customer Service Representative if you intended to have ACP on your VHS duplication order.
How do you pay for using Macrovision ACP?: You will be billed by either Macrovision directly or Cinram, dependent upon with whom you have a formal agreement. If you do not have an agreement with Macrovision, you will be charged by Cinram based upon the number of replicas in your order. Please note for our customer's benefit that better rates for ACP are offered in dealing with Macrovision directly. | SafeDisc |

SafeDisc on CD-ROM: Macrovision or a Macrovision SafeDisc reseller must premaster a special SafeDisc CD-R source to be used for replication. Cinram is not a SafeDisc Reseller, but can replicate SafeDisc CD-ROMs. You must notify your Cinram Customer Service Representative if SafeDisc is present on your source media.
How do you pay for using Macrovision SafeDisc?: Cinram does not bill the customer directly for using SafeDisc, because Cinram is not a reseller. Cinram reports all SafeDisc usage to Macrovision.
